 I remember watching a show a friend of mine had taped on ESPN. It was an all steel shooting match that had some of the most exciting shooting I had ever seen.
The targets fell at incredible speeds, and I could feel the pressure of the second buzzer looming over the competitors as they shot faster and faster. I couldn't believe that this match had disappeared and the program I was watching was filmed several years ago.
I always said to myself, "one day, I'm going to bring that match back!" Well, it took almost 10 years, but I finally did it! In 2008, I organized the 1st Annual Pro-Am Championship. Since then, the match has become one of the most talked about events in the country.
The current Pro-Am incorporates the winning combination of par times, reactive steel, and more modern stages designs. Of course, this match would not be possible without the unified efforts of the competitors, sponsors, RO/Staff personnel, and the target providers. This match prides itself on being the best pistol shooting experience in the US. And if you don't believe me, I DARE you to give it a try!
